• Yes - Sugi Satay specialises in pre-booked catering for birthdays, family gatherings, celebrations and events across Melbourne.

  • We generally recommend around 5 satay sticks per person for gatherings and events. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us and we’ll help you plan your order.

  • No- there is no minimum order for cooked satay. Whether it’s a small gathering or a larger celebration, we’re happy to help.

  • Cooked satay includes peanut sauce, cucumbers and onions. Raw/frozen satays includes satay sauce only.

  • Delivery may be available depending on location and order size. Please contact us to discuss delivery options.

  • After-hours pickup may be arranged for larger orders where possible. Please contact us in advance to discuss availability.

  • We operate Thursday to Sunday for pickups and pre-booked orders. Thursdays-Saturday: 9am-2pm Sunday: 9am-12pm

  • Sugi Satay is a pre-booked pickup and catering business only. We do not offer dine-in service.

  • Method 1: Pan Fry - Defrost. Cook on preheated pan on low heat. Turn satays over continuously until desired result.

    Method 2: Air Fryer - Defrost. Place satays in air fryer. Cook at 200 for 12-15 mins. Turn satays over every 4-5 mins.

    Method 3: Outdoor BBQ - Defrost. Cook over flame. Turn satays over frequently while brushing with oil mixed with water. Cook until desired result.

  • Method 1. Preheat oven to 160 and place satay bags into the oven for 5 mins until desired result.

    Method 2. Preheat oven to 160, turn off the oven and place satay bags into the oven and leave for 10-15 mins until desired result.

    Method 3. Place satay into air fryer with a bowl of water and reheat for 5 mins at 160 until desired result.

  • Step 1: Set oven to 175

    Step 2: Apply some egg wash onto the crown of the curry puff

    Step 3: Place in oven for 20-25 mins until nice and golden

  • Yes-our satay is halal.

  • Our products may contain traces of peanuts, dairy and soy. While our marinades do not contain peanuts, all products are prepared in the same kitchen as our peanut satay sauce, so cross-contamination may occur.
